EMMA SANCHEZ (She/Her)

LICENSED SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE INDEPENDENT CLINICAL CLINICIAN

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist and first-generation immigrant who deeply believes in hope—the kind that keeps playing like music even when we cannot hear it. I believe in each person’s innate ability to find peace within themselves and in their relationships. I am passionate about the ripple effect of healing and how it can be passed from one generation to the next. I also recognize that the world does not always make space for us to fully be who we are.

In therapy, I enjoy walking alongside my clients as they explore who they are to themselves, who they are seen as, and who they are becoming.

As a social worker, I view people as whole beings shaped by many layers of experience, and I bring a trauma-informed, and strengths-based collaborative approach to our work. You already carry within you what you need to create the life you want.

I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating unexpected life changes. Supporting parents and caregivers in developing curious, shame-free approaches to parenting, especially when raising children in cultures different from their own, is an important interest of my work.

Together, I hope we can witness hope shining light into your life, even through the smallest glimpses.
