EMMA SANCHEZ (She/Her)

LICENSED SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE INDEPENDENT CLINICAL CLINICIAN

"I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist dedicated to helping adults, youth, and children navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and holistic. I draw from various evidence-based behavioral approaches including for the child-parent relationship, while also honoring the deeper wisdom that comes from cultural, spiritual, and ancestral knowledge. I have extensive experience working with people navigating anxiety, PTSD, as well as with children in foster care, adoptive families, caregivers, and individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders.

As an immigrant myself who came to the U.S. as an adult, I am passionate about helping others navigate the process of understanding themselves outside of their original rooting environment. I also believe that our sense of self is deeply shaped by the environments, systems, and communities we live in, and part of healing is making sense of those influences with compassion and clarity.

Above all, I believe therapy is a space for you to explore your story, reconnect with your authentic self, and discover the strengths that can guide your healing. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where growth, resilience, and new possibilities can take root. It is my greatest honor to explore with my clients how hope is shining a light in their lives, even through the smallest of glimpses."
