l am a daughter of immigrants. And, while I grew up in New York City among many other immigrants and interacted frequently with other families in our local church community, no one knew the troubles my dad and I experienced at home as my mother's mental health challenges with schizophrenia became more and more severe.
That's what ultimately led to me becoming a therapist.
I wanted to be the support I needed as a kid to heal and thrive.
Now, I aim to develop and empower underrepresented therapists as we provide services for our local communities. Because we all come from a family context, and we want to see our communities thrive.
I invite you to explore the many ways you can participate with us.
