July 14: How to nurture your mental health
Mental health, which includes psychological, emotional, and social wellbeing, is just as important as physical health. Self-care can play a role in maintaining your mental health and help support your treatment and recovery if you have a mental illness. This workshop will provide information, discussion, and activities to help nurture your mental health and self-care.
July 28: Managing stress in everyday life
Stress is a normal part of everyday life, but it doesn’t have to ruin your day. This workshop will provide useful information, thoughtful discussion, and stress-reduction techniques and activities to help you manage the stress in your life.
AUGUST 11: Managing anxiety and depression
In today’s world, many of us carry anxiety and depression as part of our everyday lives. This workshop offers a supportive space to explore these challenges, understand their impact, and reflect on how they show up in your life. Together, we’ll learn practical tools for managing them through mindfulness-based self-care, strengthening your support system, and cultivating a more compassionate awareness of yourself.
AUGUST 25: The role of nutrition & exercise in mental health
In this group discussion, we’ll explore the connection between nutrition, exercise, and mental health. We'll look at how what we eat and how active we are can influence mood, stress levels, and overall well-being and share strategies to integrate healthier habits into our daily routines for improved mental health.
