BRE-ANN DUNLAP (she/her)

LICENSED SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE INDEPENDENT CLINICAL

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I’ve always valued community, connection, and resilience—qualities that deeply influence my approach as a therapist. Guided by my Christian faith, I believe in the power of grace, hope, and renewal, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow.

As a spouse to a military veteran and parent, I understand the complexities of transitions, identity, and balance that come with both service and family life. These personal experiences have strengthened my empathy for clients navigating stress, change, and the search for stability in uncertain times. I’m also familiar with the challenges of parenting and supporting children and adults with ADHD, and I enjoy helping families build understanding, structure, and connection in their daily lives.

In my practice, I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or major life transitions. I believe that therapy is a powerful path toward healing; an opportunity to process pain, rediscover resilience, and create new narratives of strength and purpose. My work centers on breaking the stigma around mental health, particularly within communities of color, and ensuring therapy is a space where people feel truly seen and understood.

Culturally competent and client-focused, I draw from evidence-based approaches that honor each person’s story, background, and values. Whether you’re healing from trauma, seeking clarity through faith, or working to restore balance in your life, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward wholeness.

For me, therapy is more than treatment, it’s an invitation to rebuild hope, nurture resilience, and embrace meaningful change.
