HOPE EVANS (She/Her)

MFT GRADUATE STUDENT INTERN

I’ve long valued community, resilience, and the stories that shape us — qualities that guide how I show up as a therapist-in-training in Seattle Pacific University’s MFT program. My background has deepened my empathy for parents navigating neurodiversity, uncertainty, and the desire to create a home where everyone feels understood. Born in Chicago and raised in Seattle and North Bend, WA, my experiences at home and abroad have given me insight into the many ways people navigate life’s challenges. These lessons guide me as I support individuals, couples, families, and single mother-led households through transitions, cultural shifts, burnout, or the long echoes of early wounds.

As someone who loves to travel and learn, I’m continually humbled by the many ways people make sense of their experiences. Those encounters have taught me to listen with openness, curiosity, and respect. My hope is to cultivate a therapeutic space that feels grounded, collaborative, and safe enough for clients to explore both the stories they’ve inherited and the ones they long to live in.

I find joy in the ordinary, beautiful moments of parenting a child with ADHD — the small victories, the creative problem-solving, and the unexpected moments of connection. These daily rhythms keep me grounded and continually remind me of the courage it takes for anyone to reach out for support.

While evidence-based practices will guide my work, I also believe healing grows through honest reflection and naming what once felt unspeakable. I aim to meet each client with presence and dignity — walking with them as they rediscover resilience and move toward growth on their own terms.
